“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26
When I came across this verse, it changed my life. I can easily spend my life feeling paralyzed by my weaknesses and yet, right there in Scripture God’s Word told me that there is an Almighty God who gives me His Spirit to help me in the midst of my weakness. Not only that, but, His Spirit also intercedes for me in prayer. What love the Father must have for us that His strength will always supersede our weakness.
Knowing this Truth gave me a hunger for God’s Word. I wanted to know more, I wanted to love Him more.
So, I opened my Bible and began reading. I started in Genesis and had a goal of reading the entire Bible through Revelations. Not far in and I was awestruck. There were so much Scripture that I had never read before. So many verses that I never knew existed. And the more I read, the more I fell in love with God, and the more I experienced Him- and His love.
I wanted to find a way to share these verses with others. I wanted them to know the Truths that I knew and experience God like I had experienced Him through His Word.
At the time I was making jewelry as a hobby. As a stay-at-home mom of three, you have to be creative when it comes to accessorizing on a budget! But the idea came together perfectly. If I added scripture to my jewelry, it would be a great way for me to memorize the scripture I was reading. It wasn’t long after this – with much encouragement from friends – that Living Truth Jewelry was born.
Living Truth Jewelry became a way for me to share Truth with other women so that they may have it in front of them at all times and be able to share it with others as well.
Having Living Truth Jewelry has been such a blessing to me over the last seven years. I have been able to hear countless stories from women of how scripture from their jewelry has spoken to them in different walks of their life- I love how God’s Word does that!
Your stories have been my favorite thing about Living Truth Jewelry.
Because, the stories we share with one another of how God has moved in our lives and revealed Himself to us in our desperate hours is what community is all about.
We share our stories because we can’t contain the amazing work we’ve witnessed God do. We share our stories because sometimes we need to know that we’re not alone. We share our stories because it creates a bond with others. It reminds us that God is at work in each of us and He’s doing miraculous things through us – together.
And that’s what we want Living Truth Collective to do. We want it to unite each of us, across all backgrounds and all walks of life to come together and be vulnerable about our brokenness, honest about our struggles, and be joyful in our victories.
We want it to be a place of growth. We’re all journeying through life together and let’s be honest, the journey isn’t easy. We need to point each other to Christ. We need to cover each other in God’s Truth. And that’s what we plan to do.

We can’t wait to see how God uses your stories and our stories to build community among His daughters and draw us closer to Him.
Collectively we’re purposed to live and collectively is how we will purposely grow- in Truth.
